Puck Podcast - November 18th, 2006

In this weeks episode we talk about the Blue Jackets firing Gerard Gallant and who we think should replace him, we name which GM we think should be fired, we talk to Ed Moran of the Philadelphia Daily News about the Flyers season and we discuss what you can and cannot wear to an NHL game and what music should and should not be played while you are there, plus a whole lot more.

(Note - There is a little bit of a different format to listening to the show this week, but just click on the link below and everything should be the same as always. We're trying to figure things out but neither of us know enough about technology to figure it out just yet. If you have any problems, or suggestions, please let us know.)

Sorry, that song, "I Wanna Drive The Zamboni" is by the Gear Daddies from Minneapolis, recorded in the late 80s.

As much as I enjoy your show (it's the only hockey podcast I listen to), I have to call BS on your powerplay on that song. How can you pay such respect to Herb Brooks of St. Paul and then shortly after ridicule another Minnesota institution, the Gear Daddies? Not only was it written and came to be a hit when our fine state didn't have a team but I think you will find that it might bring a smile to the important and overlooked ones whose job it is.

Thank you for cracking on the jersey from other teams. I could never understand it.

I also think you can only wear all-star or national team jerseys if the player is on one the two teams.

Wow long lists of names for all-star voting. Per conference, 28 forwards, 12 defensemen, 8 goalies (one being Roloson).

I wonder how many votes Weight has.
